We offer a full suite of solutions to convert and transfer your DTRS into a digital file or CD format.

Invented in 1993 by California based Tascam, the Digital Tape Recording System, much like the Digital8 Video, made use of Sony’s magnetic Hi8 tape to hold the digitally recorded audio. The format garnered great success in the music industry for its affordability, reliability, and range in recording in excess of 24 audio tracks simultaneously (with the right equipment).

DTRS content, stored on a Hi8 cassette would provide for up to 108 minutes of continual recording.

If there are any issues with the quality or performance of the digital materials created (not having to do with the physical condition of your media) we will reprocess those materials at our expense, no questions / no hassles.

All digital files are archived in an enterprise grade 3-2-1 Digital Asset Management system which includes ENCRYPTED OFFLINE (LTO-8) data storage for 60-days post receipt before our deletion protocol is initiated.
All services are performed in-house by Digital Treasury Group employees; no 3rd parties, no risks.
