Video8 to Digital File and/or DVD Conversion Services in Toronto and the GTA
We offer a full suite of solutions to convert and transfer your Video8 tapes into a digital file or DVD/Blu-ray format.
Entered into the Video Cassette war, between Betamax and VHS, the analog Video8 format was produced in 1985 as a handheld video-camera format as a rival to the VHS-C. Using an 8mm magnetic tape, the format offered superior audio to the competitor, and dwarfed the run time of the VHS-C’s limited 45 minute capacity, boasting 120 available minutes in Standard Play.
The generational successors to the format were the Hi8, and Digital8. Both of which would find multipurpose use, functional not only in video recording environments but audio recording and data storage as well.
